Salmon provides ample amounts of protein, B vitamins, vitamin A, and is very high in omega-3 fatty acids. This is one of my favorite simple recipes because it’s quick to prepare and simply delicious. Also no fish smell in house after–the trick is to broil it and you won’t smell a thing! Also it’s great recipe for grilling too.
I like to use wild Alaskan salmon and have skin removed. You can keep skin on if desired. Wild salmon is a “cleaner” healthier fish than farmed raised salmon and has a denser meatier texture w/o dyes or hormones added.
Several cloves of garlic-diced
A Hunk of Fresh ginger-diced
Whole Foods Thai/Ginger marinade (sold right at the fish counter-no sugar is added!)
Dice up garlic and fresh ginger and press into flesh of fish. Pour thai/ginger marinade on fish in a shallow roasting pan or grilling pan. Let fish sit in marinade for 20 minutes to 1 hour. Stick under broiler or on grill for 7-10 minutes. It’s done and simply delicious!
